Tropical breakfast smoothie

I like this frozen tropical breakfast smoothie recipe because it tastes like ice cream, and looks like ice cream, yet all it contains is delicious fresh fruit and lovely orange juice. Otherwise, instead of using orange juice, you could try almond milk. If you don’t have almond milk on hand you can substitute coconut water instead. Both versions are delicious, but the almond milk one is richer and creamier, so if you have the chance, try that as well. The passion fruit might not be among the prettiest fruits out there, but they are super delicious and provide a wonderful tropical flavor in green smoothie recipes. Passion fruits are grown in warmer climates in places like Florida, California, Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, the Caribbean and South America. Enjoy a wonderful and delicious tropical breakfast smoothie, not just for breakfast but any time of the day really!
