If you want to make your steaks extra tasty and really tender, then you could consider using a marinade. Garlic marinated steak is one way to make your usual steak more tender and flavorful: the sweet and salty flavors of the marinade meld with the meat as it marinates in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. When it’s time to cook the steak, the results will be juicy and fragrant, as the marinade adds an exquisite flavor and the final result will be so tender and juicy. Garlic marinated steak will literally melt in your mouth. You can use as much garlic as you wish, according to your personal taste. Personally I like to use basically one clove for each person, but that’s just me, as I really love garlic, especially the one I grow in my garden, which is tasty but not aggressive, if you know what I mean!
2 (1/2 pound) rib-eye steaks
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pinch Cayenne pepper
So let’s prepare a tasty garlic marinated steak. In a medium size bowl, mix the vinegar, garlic, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, onion powder, ground black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, salt and Cayenne pepper. Place steaks in a shallow glass dish with the marinade, and turn to coat. For optimum flavor, rub the liquid into the meat.
Cover, and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours. Preheat grill for medium-high to high heat and lightly oil the grill grate. Grill steaks 7 minutes per side, or to desired doneness (I don’t like mine too well done). You are now ready to serve your lovely garlic marinated steak.
